WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOUNG PEOPLE

Our Activities & Programs

We know that one size doesn’t fit all and all children are different…

This list below is an example of some of the options available to young people who live with us in a Guidance Care home.

Sports

Our vision is that every child will become healthier, happier & confident through finding a sport or activity they love. Toning up, learning something new and, most importantly, having fun!

Arts & Crafts

Creativity is the freest form of self-expression. There is nothing more satisfying and fulfilling for children than to be able to express themselves openly and without judgment.

Animal Assisted Therapy

Animal-assisted therapy is a therapeutic intervention that incorporates animals, into the treatment plan to enhance and complement the benefits of traditional therapy.

Excursions

Appropriate excursions can vary by age and interest, so we’ve broken out our types of Young People – friendly activities by age group.

Language learning

We believe all children deserve to learn a second language. Our language learning option makes learning a foreign language easy and accessible.

Music Lessons

Learning to play an instrument can help young people grow socially and academically. Reaching goals offers a sense of achievement and pride.
